CREATE A GOOGLE TAG MANAGER ACCOUNT

First make sure you have an account on Google Tag Manager. If you haven't already done so, remember to select "Web Platform" when creating it.

 

CONNECT TEYUTO WITH GOOGLE TAG MANAGER

  • Access your Teyuto channel dashboard

  • click on 'Settings' and select 'Integrations'

  • In the corresponding box select CONNECT button

  • Paste your ID code, which you will find in your Google Tag manager

  • dashboard, on the top right side (GTM-...).

GOOGLE TAG MANAGER VARIABLES

Once the connection is complete, Teyuto will automatically forward customised user-related events to Google tag manager, (all events will send data in a format similar to this: dataLayer.push({ 'event': "nameEvent", 'content_name': "...", 'value': ...});) but you must configure the user-defined variables in order to use them.

 

In your Google Tag Manager dashboard:

  • go to 'Variables' and go to the 'User-defined variables' area

  • Select "New"

  • Enter one of the variables below in the "Name" field at the top left of the screen

  • Select "Variable Configuration

  • Click on "Custom Event" in the list of variables

  • Save
